Due to summer obligations the Education Committee will not meet this month. We will continue to work on various projects until our next meeting in August. Stay tuned.
This group aspires to raise awareness of and connect community members to our neighborhood schools. The Del Rey Neighborhood Community Education group will commit its resources, time, and energy to promote excellence in our schools.
Eric DeSobe taught five years in Compton in a variety of grades. He currently teaches new teachers with Alliant University and does professional development for Teach for America. He was elected Secretary of the Del Rey Neighborhood Council in Nov. 2008.
