Our March meeting will focus on creating the Education Committee's mission statement and core values, setting goals for 2009 in terms of projects and financial support, and deciding upon outreach strategies to improve the awareness of Del Rey schools.

4. Project funding discussions and brainstorming (based on Venice Neighborhood Council project funding model)
5. Outreach strategies.
6. Comments by committee members on non-agenda items and comments by non-committee members on non-agenda items
7. Deciding on next meeting agenda items and confirmation of next meeting date
8. Adjournment

First Education Sub-Committee Meeting Date and Time

Our first Education Sub-Committee Meeting will take place Wednesday, March 11 from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Mar Vista Family Center. I will post the agenda soon. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Welcome to the Del Rey Neighborhood Council Education Sub-Committee. In the coming days I will announce meeting times and dates and post our the agenda for the first meeting. Stay tuned.
